Early to Late April Market Activity 2018
In Fulton County, 629 homes sold in early to late April (see blue bar at the top of graph). That’s down 3% from the previous 2 week period lasting from late March to early April which sold 650 homes (see red bar on top of that blue bar). During the same time period, 1,237 homes were listed, which is up 12% from the previous 2 week period at 1,107 homes (see second set of bars from the top).
In Forsyth County, 179 homes sold in early to late April. That’s down 1% from the previous 2 week period lasting from late March to early April which sold 181 homes. During the same time period, 393 homes were listed, which is up 24% from the previous 2 week period at 317 homes.
In Cobb County, 529 homes sold in early to late April. That’s up 8% from the previous 2 week period lasting from late March to early April which sold 488 homes. During the same time period, 892 homes were listed, which is up 20% from the previous 2 week period at 742 homes.

1) many more listings are entering the market while sold properties are decreasing signaling a flooding of market inventory
2) it’s still a pretty good time to buy (before amount of listings really decreases and demand for homes increases) even though buyers are slightly coming into the market
